'TiKes'
'TiKes' (meaning "children") has been a dream of mine, long before I even knew it. I come from a family with a history of being teachers. Ever since I was a little boy, I was proud to hear my grandmother's door bell ring, followed by her astonishment of a student that she recognised asking her for help, even after many years of retirement. My grandmother was always proud to do what ever she could to help her former students with everything they asked. She was the best teacher I have ever known and I always wanted to follow in her footsteps.
After many years later, by fate alone, I realized my dream when I became an English teacher in Mainland China. At first, I must admit... I made many mistakes - even with my advanced training in teaching that I sought before my adventure, I came to know that fate alone would never be enough. Therefore, I took great care and concern to take all that I have learned to create a school that is 100% dedicated to teaching children English the best possible way I know.
'TiKes' is now up and running. It is a school for advanced children only - Meaning we only accept children that are willing to learn - have a desire to learn and most importantly want to learn a Foreign language. Teaching children, not only English, but helping them grow with respect is all that I care about. I have and continue to work very hard to provide a place that will not only inspire our students to learn, 'TiKes' will guarantee them a much brighter future.
I always look forward to meeting new students with will and determination. It is my honour, as well I feel it is my duty, to help the ones that care.
